Picture of the water tower at the ghost town of Keota. This town was a major shipping station for the areas beef industry in the 1890's up until the early 1900's

It has been years since we visited Keota, are the old buildings/town still there. Seems like there was an interesting cemetery also, thanks, great shot of yesteryear. Bob

The old church, post office and general store is still there. There are a couple o old homes still standing as well. The schoolhouse foundation is still up as well as some other foundations/walls of other buildings.

The cemetery is still there as well.

Here is an old picture of Keota



And here's an interesting picture of Armistice Day in 1921. Keota was pretty large in its heyday.
