Here's a city cousin of your furry friends? (out practicing with the Bigma - I resorted to shooting the local fauna after being yelled at by security in front of the IRS building).

Great shot! Handsome and well endowed little feller too! Otis has his Army Squirrels near all IRS offices this time of year.....he says they are all plumb full of nuts as April nears. I could tell you more, but Otis would have to kill me.......

Wow, Mel - that is one sharp photo. You really can make that big lens sing - don't know how you do it.

I wasn't even shooting the building when I was yelled at, but down the sidewalk at a worker pushing a trashcan. I did find out later that the alert level is really high right now. I supposed this would have been useful to know before wandering around federal buildings with a lens that size.

I did take a few shots of the arched walkways but at the time I was yelled at I was no longer. I was shooting down the sidewalk at a worker pushing a garbage can. No IRS building in sight. Maybe that's where they keep the money? Who knows.

This was the shot (thanks Mike).

You guys should keep in mind that there is a WSSA Frenzy coming in April and start storing your Squirrel shots. (Worldwide Squirrel Shooters Association)
Here is Festus' website with past entry shots and Member lists. We have a ton of fun in our twice a year Frenzies, new members are always welcome during the 5 day events. There will be a notice posted her at PF listing the dates.
Plenty of Handsome Squirrels here:
