Macro First flowers of the year

I was out walking around in Mother Neff Park today, and just happened to look down, And saw these flowers. I had to stop and get them. Sping is inbound!!! The second shot is just a little HDR effect to it.

Thanks for the flower(s)... I prefer the HDR version since it renders the petals more interesting.

Thanks for the kind words, I use a relatively inexpensive HDR program. I use Dynamic Photo HDR5. It really works well for the money.

both are great shots. the background helps the flower just stand out

Thanks Scott, for some reason, I have had great luck with my Kx and the Tamron 90 mm macro lens.

Thank you sir, I really did not do too much in the HDR side with it, I just slid the clarify bar over and went from there.

I use two programs for my photos, I do not have a ton of money to spend on software so I use Corel Photo Shot X2 to process my pictures, and I use Dynamic Photo HDR 5 for my HDR shots. Dynamic was only 50 dollars, and it seems to do a lot of great things, for the money.
