Just a quick snap of my girlfriend's hamster. We gave him nearly a whole carrot last night and he proceeded to try and fit the whole thing in his mouth. I think this is the best shot, it's not perfectly in focus, there's some movement and the composition is off but the conditions were challenging and I was using an M lens. I was trying to keep the ISO low but the room was very dark, so 1/25s was needed even at F2.



He was a bit better behaved for this one:

Love them! I had a Hamster when I was a kid. Got it home and the next day she had seven babies....at three of them right away! Love that 2nd shot, very good shooting!

Haha, that actually seems to be a common complaint. Especially when people think they're buying a hamster from the "boys" cage and it turns out to be a poor girl that was put in the wrong cage and has then been used and abused by all the boy hamsters. My girlfriend really wanted a rabbit but we're renting so we compromised with a hamster :-)
