I like the fact that you didn't crop the shadow of the horse's head. At first I didn't like the big contrast between the shadow and sunshine, or maybe the line of the shadow with the horse, it tends to draw the eye to the shadow instead of the horse, but the more I look at the picture the less it bothers me...

If the shadow-horse wasn't so well presented, it probably would have been better to clone it out (the entire light section). But the cameo effect is near perfect, so I give it two thumbs up!

Nice, fine head on Big Red -any Arab in him?

I can see how the photo would look good all black background, but then again that 'chess piece' neck/head shadow would be missing. Thank you.
