Logging Coup Burn
Lens: DA21 Ltd Camera: K7 Photo Location: Swifts Creek, Victoria

Here's a few shots from a burn at a logging coup that I was at a couple of days ago. Taken with the DA21 I got a couple of weeks ago.

Some smoking pictures!!! You must of been right in the middle of the fire to get that last shot. Amazing

Intense shots! For me too the second picture really stands out.

The last one was taken up the hill from the road in the second shot so close but not in the fire.

The burn is part of the regen process. Coups get logged, burnt out and then reseeded. And you're not far off with the napalm comment, it's aerially bombed by a helicopter, in this case with "flammable gel".

mm, mainer here. i understand a bit of the logging process lol.

napalm is, after all, a flammable jelly. here i am, being a corrective ass while new...

either way, badass pics brotha!

Calling it napalm is a big no-no in Australia, which is where I was coming from with the not to far off comment. Anyway cheers
