Snow and cold are very symbolic of the war in Korea.

Very nice composition for the subject. I like the first B/W, though the touch of color on the last complements it nicely, and I lean toward that one.

That second shot is awe inspiring. The Korean Memorial in DC was the most moving memorial I have ever seen until you posted that second shot.

thanks all for your kind comments.... my uncle served during the conflict, albeit in germany as a staff sergeant (had lotsa beer and great food), my father in law, who was a mechanic who worked on b-36's and b-47's, and my cousin, who was killed in action just after arriving in korea... all now are gone, but, never forgotten... we should never forget, dave m

Wow. The B&W shots really reflect the reality of the "Frozen Chosin" winter fighting around the Chosin Reservoir (in Dec 1950). I wasn't alive then but a lot of brave Marines deserve remembrance... Great pictures.
