What a mouthful and you managed to get the whole story including how he turned the fish to swallow it. Well done.

Great pictures. Did you wait a long time for the shot?

Wow, great series. Since the shots were made with de DA*300 you had to be realy close or did you crop them heavily?

Thanks.
Waiting time not really long, cos I was shooting other birds too. Only when I heard a splash sound from the pond then I found this big colourful big flying with a fish in her mouth. I know her well that she love to perch on one of the big trees for meal & that's where I got this series of shots. The whole sequence think about 2-3mins.
Too bad the tree is full of messy leaves/branches so could have a good background.
Next time I'll shoot video.

Think I'm <10m away. The bird is not small so I tihnk i didn't heavily cropped. But if I have a 500mm that time will be great.

Is there a way to print a scene from a video?

Yes there are many video editor software can do that, think even a MediaPlayer Classic can save a frame as jpg file when you pause the video.
