Three more oldies
Posted By: Heinrich Lohmann, 03-02-2011, 11:59 AM

Montreal, 1955
This drinking water fountain was nothing but a faucet turned upside down and it did not matter how slowly one tried to open it, one got a really wet face. This gentleman knew this but his companion obviously did not. Of course I did miss the shot but this was before rapid advance levers were invented.

The Sun Life Building was then the highest building in Montreal

This one is from the Spring of 1956, a few month later we got married and still are.

Comments are always welcome and appreciated.

I should get of my butt and start scanning more of them, I do have over 6000 slides sorted in hanging files dating back to 1952.
You are sitting on a treasure trove, Heinrich. Please keep sharing these images.
