Aurora Borealis
Posted By: Pauld, 03-02-2011, 04:26 PM

Due to some good solar wind stream hitting the earth yesterday we were treated to an extraordinary Northern Lights show last night. I've seen the lights a bunch of times now and every single time the sheer beauty of it still amazes me. I hope you enjoy them just as much as I did minus the frozen fingers(it was -40C/F while I was shooting these).

Yea!

I cannot say, which I like most. But I don't have to say, have I?

They just remind me so much of the moment, I saw them. Thanks for sharing!

Wow. Wow. Wow. And -40 I can't even begin to imagine what that feels like. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful marvel of nature.
+ 1 for the Wow. Wow. Wow.

-40? It's cold. Very. I'd rather +40. And I've only experienced -34.

Richard.

I've experienced -54C/-65F a few times and it's not fun at all.
