I just got back from a vacation in Cuba. It's a fascinating country. Here are some pictures from Havana.

Nice! I'd love to go there one day...the more I read about the County, the more intrigued I am. Love the classic cars....

Vil ... Nice photos! Makes me miss the place.

forensicscientist ... It's a beautiful country and the people are some of the friendliest and most resilient I've ever met. I enjoy my visits immensely.

Wonderful images from a place that I haven't seen yet, thanks for posting them. Where do they get the parts to keep these old cars running?

Great shots.
I vacationed in Cuba a couple years ago and absolutely loved it. Havana was the highlight of my trip. Since then I've been to 4 other countries in the Caribbean and Cuba is still my favorite. I keep trying to convince my wife to go back.

Thanks for posting these - we see few pictures from Cuba, and these street scenes are colorful as well as interesting.

I like the old cars in #3 & #4. The first car I ever owned was a 1955 Ford Fairlane. Loved that cat.

Nice pics.. However, do not let these pics mislead any of you. Havana and its streets are filthy and its infrastructure is crumbling down. With the exception of the well maintained touristic areas.

I'm pretty sure they make the parts themselves. Havana is like a time warp for old cars - I even saw a BMW Isetta (with a for sale sign). Though you see plenty of new cars there as well- just not American ones.
