Congo African Grey Close Up
Lens: Pentax SMC 50mm 1:1.4 Camera: K-x Photo Location: in my house

Well I am very new to the DSLR world and have always used P&S cameras for the last five years and before that I always used a Pentax ME Super, I decided today to play around with my manual lenses and since one of my birds was out of his cage and wanting to pose I decided to try out the old lense and get as close as I can get.
I just took a wild guess at the flash and settings and finally got it dialed in.

Nice picture. It always takes me many tries to get any good pictures of my bird because he never holds still.
