A late afternoon walk and I found a shot of my home. The days snow certainly helped make this shot.

very nice Scott, just looking around your home, it looks like there are many photo opportunities. I just read there is more snow coming into your area, bundle up and stay inside, soccer practice will probably be cancelled. Bob

We love Alabama!! Heading that way next month. Jumping in the Rv for a weeks stay at Cheaha state park, in the Talladega National Park. Hope to have my shutter clicking away.

I really like the lines in this photo. They add so much interest and the light is fantastic. Beautiful shot.

Is that a hockey rink in front of your house there Scott? Is there picks up games? Do you have nets and goalie equipment or just piles of snow on the ice and lots of arguments about if "hit the post" or went in?

The snow makes the lawn match the color of the house. Cool trick.

I'd cut down all the trees behind the house though to get better highlights on the roof section, oh wait, this isn't the photo critique section... my bad.

But seriously, very nice scene. Idyllic.

Nicely done, Scott. The house seems to be beckoning - maybe there's hot chocolate inside?

Thanks Jim, its the best view I have ever seen of my old house, I guess exposes itself only in winter. Of course the view from the front yard is none to exciting, 500 acres of a milk farm

Thank Norm, no hockey just a runoff pond from the farm across the way. Couldn't cut the trees down even if I wanted they are part of a nature preserve which just happens to be behind my back yard.
