Tabletennis - Dutch championships
Lens: Sigma 70-200 F2.8 HSM II Camera: K5
Posted By: andre-mz5, 03-07-2011, 03:45 AM

This weekend I had a chance for a serious shootout with my new K5.
All shots with the K5 + Sigma 70-200 using TAv and ISO 5000! Tabletennis is a big sport, but you hardly see any pictures of it. It's very fast, but all the action takes place on a small footprint. During my shooting they only played doubles.
Hope you like them.

1 - Winner mixed doubles. This is Daan Sliepen

2 - Backhand smash from Linda Creemers

3 - Service of one of the young talents, Britt or Nikki Eerland

4 - Mens doubles

5 - Li Jiao, european champion and a world class player, with the pennhold grip.

I love these, and at ISO 5000 that's pretty awesome. Great action shots.

It's a very fast game (well when they play not so fast when I play haha) indeed and you did well in freezing the moments.
