SiouxFallsSculptureWalk, South Dakota
Photo Location: Sioux Falls
Posted By: Bob Harris, 03-08-2011, 09:57 PM

The sculptures shown are just a few of the 40 or more displayed year round in the downtown section of Sioux Falls. The sculptures are owned and created by residents of South Dakota and put on exhibit by the city for one year and voted on to find the People's Choice Award. The winners are purchased by the city and put on permanent exhibit in parks and city offices. Take a walk through the historical downtown area where the sculptures add to the enjoyment of the city.

Very cool. It's amazing to me that people can create stuff like this. That's why I take photos because I can't draw or sculpt anything. I really like the frog.

Nice shots, Bob.
Judging from the flowers, those weren't recent. We were still below zero last night.

We were there during the summer, when everything is perfect. Beautiful area and hope those temps start moving up soon, thanks Bob

great point Dave, the old town area seems to be doing well, lots of tourism and a fun place to take a walk and make some purchases to help their economy. Bob
