Light Painting Cars
Camera: K20D Photo Location: South Perth ISO: 100 Aperture: F8

A small hand full of the WA social group got together as we tried our hands at light painting (for the first time). This is for the guys that were going or had to leave early. I think the results have turned out fair, but happy to take tips .

And the mandatory photo of the city

This is something I have done with buildings using a 30 sec exposure and popping a single off-camera flash a few times. It take some practice, and luck.

One AF360FGZ being manually fired and one 60 LED lamp. I order some flash triggers for the night but they didn't arrive in time...

I think, if there is a next time, using more of spot light and I'm not sure if it will be a good idea (or just a really stupid idea), but maybe a CPL filter to reduce the reflection of the lamp.

Looks pretty good to me!
I'm sure my results turned out worse
The city photo with the yacht looks pretty good to me, better than just the standard city photo.
Definately some potential there. And was good to catch up!

cheers
