American Invasion
Lens: FA50 1.4 Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Box Hill and Hawthorn, VIC

I took my FA50 1.4 and K-5 for a ride in my car when I went shopping today. I spotted the T-Bird parked at the side of the street. 13:02 and daylight savings time makes the sun just about overhead (check the shadows) and I didn't have a polariser with me...

It needs a bit of TLC.

Then I pulled into a slot in the underground parking area at a local mini-mall and noticed what I'd parked next to. I'm mostly using manual exposure these days, but for some reason I used Av underground. ISO 3200 for those who don't have an exif viewer. I'm loving the K-5

Hey Richard, it was your day to encounter Amurkun Arn. Boy that T-Bird brings back memories - I think it's a late '50's model and the first Bird with 4 seats. My Dad wanted one badly, but wouldn't part with the dough.

I haven't talked myself into a K-5 yet, but that ISO 3200 shot sure looks good to me (and thus is thought provoking).

Thanks, Jer. I was trying to justify spending the dough last November, when I spotted a high ISO shot here and a little bi-stable multi vibrator in my mind went from 0 to 1.

That's a little weird. The Chevrolet Camaro is pretty much a Holden, so you can say it's back home. Although it was built in Canada.

A lot of the engineering was done here and I think the floor pan is more-or-less the same as a Holden Commodore which, I think, was sold in the USA as a Pontiac G8. All this before the big collapse.
