Wow great timing that cannon shot on #3, I can't wait to have that kind of weather to go out and shoot! Sick of snow and slop! 4 more feet to melt yet!

I agree with all the rest, it would seem you got your settings right straight up. I can see you'll enjoy using this camera.

I think #2 is technically the best overall, but the timing on the cannon is great. I've never captured the exact blast in a few tries.

These look great to me - well framed, well timed, good exposure and great color.

I'm trying to talk myself into wanting a K-5 and these help .

Great shot of the cannon! Love it.

You achieve this level of detail with a superzoom that's impressive.

I thank you all for your kind comments. These and the ones
of the lava flow & the pandas make me feel a little better about
my shooting. I still think I fall far below you guys. Maybe I should
look into learning photoshop. I've always just went with the
Image as it came out of the camera. My problem is I see ALL
my images, great, good, and a lot of garbage. Tend to think
the garbage shots reflect my true ability, not the really good
stuff. Again thank you for your kind comments. By the way,
I have never turned down constructive criticism. So, if you
ever have some advice PLEASE let know. Trying hard to get
better if I can consider myself approaching what some of you
do

The only way to get better is to keep shooting. Remember, one persons garbage is another's good...i think you're on the right track. Tom
