Nice- you stopped down to about f8 or so and you have 6 blades to your aperture. I hope you like the effect.

Thank you because I really never knew how I could replicate the result. I did like the effect, even though it was nothing spectacular.

Be aware that this effect may show up for this particular lens only. Lenses may have more aperture blades, and the design will be different.

Also, you have to shoot into the light (like the candle) to get the inter-reflections inside the lens. If you can hone your technique to plan this, it can be a useful skill!
