Silver-breasted Broadbill
Lens: Sigma 500mm f/4.5 APO EX Camera: K5

Shot this cutie at Bukit Tinggi Malaysia
Lighting was not ideal, mostly shot at high iso.

#1 @iso 400


#2 @iso 1250


#3 at very low angle, iso 3200


#4 @iso 2500


#5 @iso 3200


#1, #2, #4 are female, #3 & #5 are male.

Nice NR work for using higher ISO's the shots look great! Nice looking little birds, So bored with our standard Red breasted Robins, Crows, Ravens and a few others around the interior of BC... I'm not much of a birder, but I know I'm going to be headed out next week to try get better shots of a few bald eagles residing around my area!

Nice shots and great examples of great high ISO and K5. Was this Sigma APO EX non-DG?

The birds that you mentioned except crow I do not have them & I don't mind having them into my collection.

Sigma 500mm f/4.5 APO EX Lens Reviews - Pentax Third-Party Lens Review Database
Think no DG? but for sure there's no HSM & OS but still cost the same price with Canon/Nikon mount which have all the features.
