My first attempt to shoot at a concert
Lens: Pentax smc M 2/85 Camera: Pentax k200D ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/45s Aperture: F2

The light was quite difficult, shoots with manual focus at 1/40 sec, lens wide open @ISO 1250 and 1600

I'm an old guy, don't care for loud obnoxious music or most concerts of any kind.....but your shots look excellent to me. If I did like concert shots, yours would be more than acceptable to my eyes!

Thanks Rupert! It was too loud for squirrels as well, so I had to take pictures of the band

It is hard to take good photos in a concert. Nice job. This always reminds me how delicate our eyes are.

Nicely done, Norbert. The last one is terrific - reminds me of my gigging days (although I played sax).

nice job, i've shot a lot of concerts, you've got the right idea, wide open fast lens, high-ish iso and as fast a shutter as it will support
I like #1 though I may have cropped myself to just feature the singer
#3 is also quite good

Doesn't look like that loud a show to me

Thank you very much Charlie, indeed it was my first try to shoot a concert, but I have been many times at that place to listen to concerts always thinking I should bring my camera

Norbert, these are very nice images, I am surprised as to how well the K200d handled the high iso.
