Misc Pile-Up (Art or Garbage?)

This series was inspired by a photo I took at the beginning of the season. By the time I graduated to my new camera and lens the cars had been taken away. As such, these images are as ephemeral as a flower in spring!

Yep...cool images, i liked number 4, very colorfull...
It's sad to see it but can't help myself and view some beauty in decay.

thanks frogfish and coeurdechene... I am glad you like them. I cropped the fourth one down to the barrels, it may still need some adjusting. I don't know why, but I really enjoy taking these types of photos... I could spend all day at the dump. I think to add to the series I will photograph the bears, vultures and ravens that use the dump as their main food source.

you know, you are not wrong in your assumptions. I can't get him to throw out anything, not even thirty year old technology.

Thanks Charlie, ya, here as well. I can actually see something of ours in that pile. Well the story goes, Norman brought home an exercise bike from the dump. It sat outside all winter eventually becoming covered in snow. As the snow melted I asked him politely to return it to its rightful place. And there it sits. On the top of the heap!

Thank you Heinrich! I am trying daily to get the ravens before the leaves appear. Sometimes the trees are filled with hundreds of Ravens yelling at my intrusion into their territory. I just need to have the right camera ready for when it happens.

Bears should be around in about 3 or 4 weeks. Same with the vultures.
