Lovely! The second one is gorgeous! We are getting Bluebonnets around here already! I can't wait to get out and shoot wildflowers in a couple of weeks when they become abundant.
Ever been on Willow Loop near Llano?
Best Regards!

Thank you everyone for the kind words! I really enjoy taking macros. Frogfish, this is a shot of the whole flower. I back away with the 90mm macro lens, to get a full shot.
Rupert, I have been to the "loop" many times. I love that area. My wife and motorcycle down in there a lot. With Enchanted Rock and so many other area there, I would never go to work!!!

Nice shooting, very real!
If you haven't been on your bike on Ranch Road 335 from Barksdale up to Hwy 41, you have missed a hidden treat. As an old biker from way back, this is one of my favorite rides, and comparable to those outside of Keerville/Medina, but unknown to most people and very lightly traveled. Last trip we saw two vehicles.......both farmers/ranchers. Gorgeous wildflowers along the way too. Take a peek at it when you are in the area, it may end up being one of your favorite rides too....In 2010 there were miles of these blooms...and others.
Lots of canyon curves, runs along the river, gorgeous road!

Best Regards!
