Lovely shots Ken .... I like #4 the best.

BTW - I don't call ISO2,000 high ISO any more (on the K5) ! On the K7 I would only very rarely go above 800 but on the K5 most shots under 3,200 don't even need NR applying in PP ! Did you use any NR on these ? Especially #4 ?

Nice shots en. Congradulations. The bird seems to me more a White-browed Wagtail than a Robin.

Yeah you are right, K5 can handle iso 3200 easily with not much noise.
My Canon birder frens told me they don't use anything above iso1600. So they shoot at a lower shutter speed than me while I got more keeper shots than them.
Yes I did some basic NR from CS5 on all pics.

The birds are Oriental Magpie Robin, our residential birds here.

Thanks Tom. I really like K5 & find it very good for birding especially coming from an entry level K-x last time.
