This is a series of shots I took recently of a couple of Playmobil models. They were given as a gift to my girlfriend & I by a friend after we announced we were getting married. I´ve used them on a website that we´ve prepared for guests with info on the wedding, one photo at the bottom of each page.

They looked ok on the camera screen but once on the computer I found most or all were underexposed, so the backdrop was not a white-out. I fixed this in PP as much as possible as I didn´t want to re-shoot.

I wanted to use all manual lenses but in the end I needed the close-focus capabilities of the kit lens. Apertures were small so wide-open softness was not a worry.
