Flagler Beach Pier in the Mist
Lens: Sigma 17-70mm Camera: Pentax K20D Photo Location: Flagler Beach, FL ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F8

I thought this one worked well as a monochrome image since there was so little color to begin with. I did the monochrome conversion in Aperture 2 and increased the contrast as well. Comments and critiques are welcomed.

I think a long shutter speed would have suited it perfectly. Maybe a couple of seconds to get that blurred mystical water look

I did think about that. In the end I was more interested in the reflection of the pier in the water, which I think would have been lost with a longer exposure.

great shot, reminds me of sitting at the beach on a dreary day, thinking of nothing, just relaxing. It does have a great mood to it, very nice and thanks Bob
