Why would you put this in your yard?

A Vancouver image from my urbanities project

Pentax 645n, Kodak E100VS slide film (shot at ISO 80). 1/30 sec handheld. Developed/scanned by North Coast Photo Services.

still shakin' my head..... i've seen a lot of interesting topiary and sculptures in folks' front yards... but NOTHING compares to this.... dave m

i should mention that houses in this particular neighborhood cost several million dollars each ... so yeah, this is probably an excessive opulence and lack of style moment (a la tony montana)

the best part is this idea of the elephant, up here in the pacific northwest. in the winter, it would hardly last a day.
