Just thought I'd post a little Otis porn. This one is named Plato, and he's great entertainment for the border collies. Keeps them busy chasing him around the yard.

Not sure it is the same squirrel Norm. The toes seem to be a little more separated on the second one.

Norm, that is really a cool squirrel, what type is it, the razorback hair I have never seen before. You have a little of everything up there. Bob

I assume you're talking about the first two images, those are red squirrels, that's not razor back hair, that's their tails pressed against their backs. Further south in TO you have greys and black squirrels, up here in the bush it's pretty much all reds.

It seems that all of you in North America have some squirrels as a friend! Recently I saw a movie from a friend, where a cheeky squirrel stormed into his kitchen and demanded nuts! Really!

When I was visiting my friends in California, the squirrel took the peanuts directly from my hand, and as she took, then ate it just on the table on the patio, we were sitting at...

Otis fell for a cute little Girly Squirrel like that once....her name was Ginger.....also from Canada. She broke his little heart, told him she was too good for him. I thought he might die of heartbreak, but I gave him an apple slice and he got over it.

Regards & Thanks from Otis for posting...me too!

We used to feed one on our back porch. It would come in through the kitchen door, go find the pickle jar that we kept the nuts in, and screw the lid off the pickle jar when we weren't paying attention and hadn't put any food out. When we decided we didn't want her in the kitchen and started closing the screen door, she chewed through the screen. When we closed the back door glass, she went around to the front of the house and chewed through the front screen. We had two cats, but they were both afraid of her. When she had little ones, we started feeding them on the back fence, so they wouldn't associate the house with food. That worked out much better.
