... just had the one year anniversary of the great flood(ing) from the torrential rains which made the pawtuxet river flood.... the effect were losses in the millions of dollars to businesses and residences.... still many locations (existing and potential for renovation)now shuttered and abandoned due to the damage......

thanks bob and jer.... really irks many hear that nothing has been accomplished to prevent this from happening again.... they've talked about dredging this mostly innocuous river, but it's only been talk.... talk about the lack of a 'can do' government... dave m
