Swan song

Really starting to like my new 150-500mm. Got lucky this week because two swans moved in the ditch next to my apartment. Leaves some more opportunities to get some new shots next week.

Nr 1 is really gorgeous, although maybe a little bit more space on the right would have been better.
But all 3 are very good, it's not easy to get good detail on those white feathers.

Thanks, Karen. With #1 I concentrated on the eye and at 400mm it's quite hard to keep everything in the frame even with OS on. Thinking about framing that shot on canvas, but will give the subject some more room by cloning the background on the left and right.

Nice work capturing the detail in those white feathers, very difficult.

These are really beautiful Eric - great exposure.

My one criticism would be I think you've cropped these a little too close tot he bird in places - I'd give it a little more space around the bird to show off that lovely bokeh.
