Humming birds four kinds of them.
Lens: FA*300 F2.8 Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Huntington Beach,So.Cal

Usually after the rains, in the month of April we get a swarm of humming birds especially in this garden where Cactus flowers at a full bloom. This lasts about three weeks and attracts a lot of photographers because they get to shoot all kinds of humming birds at a close distance.

Very sharp and clear. I have been told that the resting shots, #1 are kinda rare.

Mostly the ruby throat is what we see here. You are lucky to have the variety.

Harish, I really hated to open this thread because I knew it would throw me into a deep depression. These are so good and I know I will never be able to capture the little beauties as well as you did. The whole series is fantastic.

Lovely photos! My favourite is the first one, how cute is that little one!
In Sweden we don't have humming birds, so it is really nice to se photos of them!

Thanks Bob.
Apparently only the Ruby Throats migrate as they do not tolerate the cold temps. very well like Annas and the Rufus.
