Travel Iceland City Break

Hello friends, I was in Iceland a few weeks ago for a three days break.
Some would say "crazy fool, Iceland in winter" and yeah, and it's a weird time to visit the place!

Here we go, with a serie on the Reykjavík harbor:

Nicely done. Thanks for sharing your photos. Interesting choice of lens - I've got the FA20 (as you can see) recently, and I'm waiting to see how it turns out, as the Voigtlander 20 was a consideration for a while.

I think it was a great idea to visit Iceland in winter-the photos prove it! (but thanks for not taking me with you ;~)

These are so well done - great job. I enjoyed every one - especially the "Solfar".

I went on one of those "Northern Light" tour. Well... they look better on my camera that in real life...

Yes, Iceland is mocking me...

Capturing the rain on that second shot really adds an element of nostalgia... like it lots.

Thanks for your kind comments. I took another tour (full of tourists): the "Golden Circle". It is actually enjoyable if you avoid which put you in one of those 60+ seats coach.

Geysir, now you know where the name come from:

Gulfoss, the "golden fall". In summer, you can see 2 rainbows here!

And finally Thingvellir, the rift valley and house of the first Icelandic parliament

Funny thing on this last pict, the mountains on the left are American and those in the right are European.

great series indeed. we need to be more respectful to the earth nature and need more iceland elsewhere in the world. thanks for sharing!
