Gorgeous - I just love these birds !

However I do think this set would benefit from a slightly less agressive crop as sharpening artifacts are very obvious.

Thanks Frogfish, glad you like these birds.
I only applied sharpening on the last pics as it was abit soft. Are you refering to this pic?

In the last pic there are definite signs of haloing & PF from the sharpening. I thought it was the same in the others but if you didn't apply any (your software may have on export) then the noise, in the wings in particular, are from the aggressive crop.

IMHO a slightly less aggressive crop would have resulted in less noise and therefore a seemingly sharper image - even if slightly zoomed out.

I still love the shots though !
