A final goodbye to the 90s (Ford Mustang)
Lens: 50 1.4G Camera: D700 ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/200s Aperture: F2.8

I owned this car about 12 years ago. I sold it to a friend, who sold it to another, and along down the line. Well, the owner (another of my friends), is having a kid and buying another house, so it's time for him to sell it. Unfortunately, it looks like no one in our circle of friends is in a position to buy it. So it's the final farewell for all of us. Just snapped a couple shots off this weekend. Didn't have much time, so these are at a bad hour, and I feel it shows.

Nice shots, though that car never did much for me. Looks in good shape, still.

These are nice shots. I had a couple of Mustangs in the '60's and came close to buying one of the Fox platform 5.0 liters in the late '80's. Frankly, I don't remember why I decided not to.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm not quite happy with the shots; however, it wasn't optimum lighting with the time of day. I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and order a Vagabond Mini and some B1600s.

As far as the car, it kind of is like losing a friend. I haven't owned it in a long time; however, I've still been around it. It's gone from bone stock when I had it, to a 500rwhp streetable drag car (still has air con, hahaha).

I don't think the Fox body series was anything flashy. And I think that was the appeal. Especially the notchback here. It was light (2700lbs), had good grunt (300 lb/ft), and was just a no frills car. Nothing fancy, not even anything very fast, but it had character, and was easily modified.
