Swimcup Eindhoven 2011
Lens: DA*300 & Sigma 70-200 F2.8 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Eindhoven

This weekend there was international swim meet. The meet was the final meet for the dutch swimmers to qualify and get selected for the worldchampionships in Shanghai. There were also a lot of of other european top swimmers attending the meet.
I was mostly shooting TAv and the auto ISO has used values from ISO 4000 upto 10000! I would never have thought of using those kind of values with my K7. You can find exif info in the pictures.
Here some pictures and were shot from the stands, about 10 feet above. I hope you like them.

1 - freestyle

2 - breast stroke

3 - butterfly

4 - backstroke

5 - backstroke from above

6 - butterfly, not easy from above

7 - backstroke start

8 - butterfly start

9 - butterfly finish

These are terrific action shots. The more I see of the K-5 the more I know I want one.

Thnx for the compliments.
I just waited until I was sure the stain problem was solved and then upgraded from K7 to K5.
Getting these kind of shots just are proof to me I made the right decision

Thnx ardentartichoke.
I was referring to the stain problem of the K5. I haven't had any problem with the K7.

You've captured some great action shots in the water. Very nice! That camera is amazing (yes, I want one ), but you sure made it work well here.

Thnx Barry.
To say that I'm happy with the K5 and satisfied with the results would be an understatement.
