Yes, yes, I know - every Arizona visitor must have a picture like that. It's almost like an obligation under the law! So I've got mine, and it reminds me breathtaking view and the delight which I experienced as I first looked at this bend... Belive me, it was like a shock, but nice one!
I do wish I could go there again. So, here's Horseshoe Bend near the city of Page, north Arizona.
And now, its time for Arizona out of the ground. This is the famous Antelope Canyon, the lower part ... If you go there sometime, you should know that a trip to the Upper Canyon is more expensive, shorter, there is a time limit on the trip and there is considerable traffic - the groups go in and out and there is no enough time to take pictures with a tripod.
The Lower Canyon is much longer, there is not so many people and you have no time limit for the go from one end to another. BUT... But, unlike the Upper Canyon which is almost all flat as a sidewalk, in the Lower CAnyopn there are some fairly steep approach (with the metal ladder attached to the walls) and some quite narrow inlets - wearing a small backpack, you cant go through; you have to remove the backpack and carry it into the hands.
These minor inconveniences reward stunning views.
And what do you think about the photos? As usual - thanks for any note...
