Two Shore Birds

I really enjoy the settings you have in all the shots instead of the mud and brown water i am used to seeing around here. Never heard of Indian Rocks Bridge but the only time I saw a Heron in a bush like that was in the FL Keys so i guess you are close.

Looks like breeding plummage on the Egret. that last shot shows it up very well. It is difficult to shoot a white bird against dark water and still catch the detail. Nice work.

Welcome to the forum, Rob! How wonderful it would be to be able to photograph such birds on lunch break. These are super shots, and my favorite is the last one of the egret, though they're all terrific.
