After a long night of drinking at my sister's place, I decided to re-energize with some time behind the camera, and drive to Felton,CA which is about a 20 minute drive from my sister's place in Aptos.
I first heard about the Fall Creek Trail online and randomly went there one day and loved it. It's a nice easy trail for the first mile or so, then splits off to 2 trails.
This is also the first time I have taken my new Tripod setup (Manfrotto 322RC2 and Manfrotto cx3) on a hike, and tried photographing moving water like this.
It was pretty intense, actually, with about $1400 of equipment sitting somewhat precariously on the side of a steep hill over fast flowing water.
Here is the same scene but zoomed in and recomposed. Different PP also.
Here is the little water fall where the trail splits.
I probably should have exposed the photo for less than 3 seconds, but I was happy with this at the time.
