Are we to believe this is your first time going to a zoological park?

My first Zoo trip in 50 years I think I was 8 when I went to the Detroit zoo back in the early 60's. Yes I was using the New Bigma with the OS, I rented it for my 2 week Blues Trip and Zoo adventure.
Thanks for your nice coments too.

I remember Jacksonville zoo from years ago when it was all small cages and cramped quarters. They have come a long way. Nice series with what looks like some tricky lighting. Love the spoonbill.

The Spoonbill was is a large cage you could walk into and interact with them. I had a white Spoonbill walk right up to me like he wanted me to get out of his way.
As you can see. He is no more than 3 feet away from me. I thought he was going to bite my foot but he walked to the left.
The next photo was taken with the 50-500 and they were about 200 feet away.
