After all these years

I finally got one. I was walking around my front yard and a neighbor was out with his binoculars, I heard him say Bald Eagle, but at first didn't register what he said. I turned and looked up, and there he was, sitting in a pine tree. I edged closer and was able to get four shots before some joggers scared him off.

Here he is:

What an op, and a good shot, too. When I was little, I didn't think I'd ever get a chance to see one, ...still hoping to catch more than a fleeting sighting, myself.

Thanks magiclady.That fleeting sight was what I usually saw.

Thanks Bill. I did say something to them about what they ruined for me, but they shrugged it off.

I'm tempted to make a sign that says "caution: photographer at work" though it probably wouldn't phase people. I just get so frustrated when people are around and just ignore me standing there with my camera pointed skyward and them not seeing anything.
