B&W works for me also. An ND filter might have allowed for more detail in the lower portion but ...

Love the second one! And I agree with jac than an ND filter would have made the lower half pop more. But the same thing can be accomplished in Photoshop.

Ok... sorry. I couldn't help myself. It's such a great photograph and I just had to see if I really make that lower half sing. This is a ten second hack job, but....

np, thx for the nice toughs
i will go and lighten the dark's more as i did in my first try... at the second post processing i darkened the dark's. My bad

I'm not sure I like the B&W. It's the colors of the sunset that make it so magnificent. I really like the road in the first shot. Makes me wonder what is over the hill. Takes my eyes and my imagination on a journey.
