Whilst out shooting the smaller birds this weekend we saw these 2 welcome visitors!

The rabbit was quite shy and didn't hang around very long, whilst the squirrel visited twice and came up quite close and posed for a minute or two.

These shots also show the versatility of the 250-600 as these are all taken at various focal lengths from the full range.

All uncropped apart from shot 6 with most at 1600 ISO, no noise reduction applied.

Ah, I especially like the third one. Also bunnies. Of course, I think wild bunnies see my eyes light up and think I want to eat them, rather than scoop them up and make silly noises at them.

The 3rd one is a favourite of mine too as I think he got curious about the camera sounds and started being nosey! Was worth the 4 hour wait!
