Oh gosh the baby shutterbug now has a K-x? Oh that is too funny, and too cool. Better watch out. By the time he's 6 you're going to have to buy him his own K-5 just to keep up...

At least if he waits until he's six the K-3 (or whatever it's called) will be out and giving him my current K-5 won't be as painful

Thanks for the comments. Noah hasn't been out taking as many pictures lately as the weather has been terribly hot recently and he's not one to put up with personal discomfort, even for his art. He actually got "downgraded" from his K-x to a K100D Super, but in all honesty he doesn't really know (or care about) the difference. I picked one up cheap as part of a package and I'm back to not having to worry about him dropping or damaging it

Just walked in on his little brother (see the picture below, actually taken with Noah's K100D super as it was the first camera I grabbed since I didn't want to miss the shot). Not sure he's actually reading at 20 months, but it might not be long before I need to pick up another bargain body for Silas to play along.

Amazing, he has read more of a Pentax manual than I have...and I bet I am not alone!

Love to see you getting them interested at an early age, it will mean so much to them in their coming years. I wish I had an early start in photography, it would have been a great asset in my life.
Best Regards!

That kid takes better pictures than I do! Great shots (both of you!). He's a cutie!!!
You're brave... I'm not sure I would let my 6-year-old do that with my camera.

What a lovely thread. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this. Two very lucky boys have a wonderful Dad.

I let my 41/2 year old grand daughter use my K10D with DA18-50 lens.
