Hazard Rocks
Posted By: Donkeypunch, 04-21-2011, 05:56 PM

From about six months ago...the apeture and shutter speeds are what I just picked...these were shot with various shutter and apetures...using a 3 stop soft edge ND-Grad.
Enjoy.

On a seperate note, #1 was just published in Nature Photographer Magazine (Spring 2011)

Congrats on the publication. Interestingly, I actually saw said magazine this afternoon while passing some time at Barnes and Nobles.

While I was going through the magazine (many truly gorgeous images) I was chuckling inwardly on the fact that I didn't see a single image made with a Pentax.... until yours on the back cover (?) was it?

Yeah it was made with a K7...I also wish they corrected a bit better for print...the shot was awful dark when they printed it...But whatever.

Congratulations on the publication; it's easy to see why it was chosen.

That said, I'll be the odd man out and state my preference for the 3rd shot. I like the varied colors, and I'm a fan of water that isn't quite so blurred.

Beautiful shots all three - however #1 wins it for me, I just love the 'face' in the swirl !
