I recently created an account on Pentax Photo Gallery, and this is the first picture I submitted. Logged back today to find that it is approved. Makes me happy because there are some beautiful pictures on that website.

Taken in Yellowstone - one of the most magically beautiful places on Earth.

Beautiful capture. Doesn't this adequately show what can be done with the K-x and a kit lens (DAL 55-300mm). Should help answer some of those "What lens for landscape" questions.

And I agree. K-x is a very capable camera. Although I have a k-5 now, to me, k-x is still the best bang for buck (or was, since Pentax stopped production now). k-x is what I recommend to anyone willing to spend upto 1000$ on a camera.
