Pokemon Theamed shot.
Lens: sigma 24-60mm f2.8 Camera: k5 Photo Location: Scotland ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/150s Aperture: F4

My stepson asked me if I could do a shot for him (since his sister had her head in a box). So we went outside and tried a pokemon theamed shot. He wanted to look like he was capturing a pokemon or something (hence the beam of light).

Anyway here's the shot and I hope you enjoy.

This is a cool shot. How did you get the light to look like that?

While there was some lensflare from the strobe on his hand (that i removed for a pokeball :P) I used a lensflare effect from PS and the beam of light is from a new layer with Pinlight on and a single white brush stroke with large feather radius.

Im glad you both like it . I printed it on a3 for him and framed it. He loves it
