My grandson's cat--"Steve"
Lens: DA-55-300 Camera: k20d Photo Location: Franklin Ma. ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/45s Aperture: F4.5

My son hosted Easter and Steve the cat was checking out the crowd.Usually I would take a gaggle of pics to get one good one but when I saw this one I called it quits after one shot.The second shot was processed by the k20 in "illustration mode.I'm undecided on which version I like better.--charliezap

Looks good to me, Capn - an I don't even like cats. I vote for the first one. I assume you thoroughly enjoyed your trip to Florida; sure seems like given the pics you were posting.

I still resent you making my Porsche look like a Mercedes .

Charlie, the in camera processing is a great tool, I just forget to use on my Kx. I like the eyes of the cat in #1 better. Funny about cats, they just look at you and seem to say "What". They always seem to be in total control of their surroundings, sort of like my wife at times. take care. Bob

The Florida trip was awesome Jer.Everyday except one was 85 and sunny.My wife is already making plans for an October vacation.--charliezap

The cat shot was one of those rare times that I used 1600 ISO on the k20d.The first shot does look more natural.--charliezap
