2 lakeside panoramics
Posted By: little laker, 10-30-2007, 11:55 PM

This is the first double layer panoramic that I've ever made.

As a result there's 36 images in this one )

It's Christina Lake, British Columbia, Canada.

Some lady asked about 1 the other day, but I don't think that she'll like it
She wants something that works nicely into a 16" x 32" size, and this one doesn't
Although if she changes her mind by just cropping the edges just a little it'll work really nicely into a 16" x 56" size

I cropped another one of my other pano's from there to the size that she wants, and it looks good.

I hope that she likes it.

The chances are pretty good that I'll get hired to make the frame for it.
Oddly enough frames for panoramics are oddball sizes :Idunno:

Nice 'pano' Stu - I think they would be happy with either shot. I do prefer the first one - the serenity , calmness of the water, green rolling hills - ahhhhh here I sit wating for the snow to fall.

!!!!! beautiful!! That first one is great? Were they all horizontal or were there a could of vertical?

The second one looks like it could benefit from some color treatment. It looks a little washed out.

Both are dandy, but the first one is a pure stunner! Color and contrast seem to be stronger, as compared to the second. Well worth the effort! Keen!!!

Amazing Stu as always! I too like the first one more for the contrast and colour, but it's not to say the second image isn't grand as well. You're always on the top of your game Stu!

Would it be considered blasphemy in the midst of the appraisal to mention the ~0.94% tilted horizon?
