Utah! Bryce Canyon NP

Bryce Canyon was the highlight of the trip. It is as majestic as they say in guide books. Our photos cannot make it justice.

OMG these are incredible. As someone who has never been to a canyon I feel you did the place justice!!! Love the reds in the first, with the sun shining on the canyon wall it really is special. I "fall" into the vista shots and love the pic with the people.

Thanks for posting!

I was going to say that Bruce...now I'll have to say something else...um #2 is really good too, but #1 is spectacular. You caught the light just right. (And the rock looks translucent... I couldn't stop myself from saying it.)

Tess, thanks a lot for your comments. This place really is incredible. If I had time, I'd just keep going through Utah.

The people shot was with the 60-250mm that we managed to drop on the gravel the day before and broke the front lens barrel, so the sharpness isn't that great.

Thanks much, Norm. I keep thinking I should try to post-process the #1, but it just seems better as is.

Magic, especially No 1. The rocks seem translucent.
Thank you, Bruce. It really was a magic moment looking at these rock formations.
