Some Bees
Lens: tamron 28-75 with extension tube Camera: K2000 ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F16

These were all small bees, biggest one was probably 1/4 inch. Anyways, I'm still learning. Focus is off on a couple of them but tying to get better. C&C always welcome.

Used M50 1.7 with tubes on this one.

Wow that metallic "bee" is incredible looking! I'd love to have one of those for deep stacking attempts!

(where do you live?)

Yea it is a cool looking "bee". I live in Oklahoma (Same town as Thomas Shahan, need to get some lessons ) All the shots are single images but I need to learn how to stack images. The bee loves the tree in my back yard and is there pretty consistently, only problem is he never stays in one spot for very long at all.

At the magnification your at stacking is not necessary. Its not tell you get past 1:1 that your issues arise
